Daylong workshop on Thought Modification was organised on 24th June 2018. 27 participants from across different parts of West Bengal attended the workshop. They included Counsellors, Teachers and other professionals. The Key Speaker was Dr Sheila Banerjee. Other speakers were Dr Gautam Bandyopadhyay and Dr Sayandip Ghosh. The topics includeed Physiology of Thought and various issues related to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Remembering Chandi Lahiri
Eminent cartoonist Chandi Lahiri passed away recently in Kolkata. He was extremely close to DANA and illustrated all its publications during more than 15 years. DANA released a special newsletter and organised a commemorative ptogramme on Chandi Lahiri on 11th February 2018 at 5 pm before an invited audiencehandi Lahiri’s was amongst many who remembered ‘Chandida’ on this occassion.
18th Anniversay of DANA
DANA completes 18 year of offering service on Mental Health Awareness and support on 10th February, 2018. Anniversary Programme was held at DANA on 11th February at 4 pm.

Discussion on ‘Pleasure & Happiness’ on 18th January 2018
On the occassion of the release of Dr Amit Chakraborty’s new book on Happiness (SUKHER CHAABI) bY ‘PARAMPARA’, a discussion programme on ‘Pleasure & Happiness’ was organised at Jibananda Sabhaghar on 18th January 2018. The book was released by Dr Amal Mullick and Dr Amit Chakraborty, Dr Gautam Bandyopadhay, Smt RatnaMitra and Smt Subhra Banerjee Pal were on the dais.
